Currently...in the dark

Hello blogging world!
Sorry I've been out of the loop lately - I live in New Jersey and have been out of power since Monday :( The first night was fun - my husband and I lit candles, snuggled in warm pjs, and stayed up late, talking. By the 2nd and 3rd day, the thrill of no power was lost on us. We were cold, in the dark, and cranky. So, we came up to stay with my parents in New York where we've been camping out, praying our power comes back on.

So, to get back into the swing of blogging, here's my November currently...

Thanks for stopping by :)

  1. I hope your power comes on soon....I can't imagine a week without it! We had an ice storm here in KS about 2 years ago and many people were without power in the middle of the freezing winter for 6 days. We only went without for a day and our house was down to 55 degrees! Hope you don't have to suffer much longer!

  2. sure hope your power returns soon...one time and this DOES NOT COMPARE TO YOUR SITUATION AT ALL but... one time our power went out because of a freak morning storm...I packed up my make-up and hair stuff and finished getting ready at school (before the kids got there)... you should have seen the VP's face when HE saw me blow drying my hair behind my desk with my make-up mirror propped up on my desk...it was funny... and thanks so much for linking up

  3. During our floods in Brisbane, Australia two years ago I also lost my power for about a week so I know how miserable it can be. I hope it comes back on for you soon.

  8. I hope all is well and the power comes back on very soon for you. During Hurricane Katrina me & my family had to stay a little further north for a whole month. I am hoping you will get back much sooner than that though of course. I am a new follower to your blog.
